According to information from Liam KeenWolverhampton club insider, Wolves are said to have been busy recruiting Bastien Meupiyou. According to the same source, the Premier League club is said to have made an offer of around €5 million to try to snatch the player trained at La Jonelière. The Nantes defender also only has one year left on his contract and does not seem keen on the idea of extending his contract with the Canaries.

The story of Bastien Meupiyou.
Born in Paris, Meupiyou joined the Nantes training center in 2019.
He played well through the youth ranks at Nantes, but he had a professional debut to forget in September 2023. He was sent off against Marseille after just nine minutes, making him the second-youngest player in league history to receive a red card.
This is his one and only game with the Nantes first team. But Meupiyou has impressed with the youth teams, playing both as a central defender and a defensive midfielder.
