The ECB’s director of operations, Stewart Hooper, tried to resolve Shoaib Bashir’s visa dispute with the Indian embassy in Abu Dhabi but was told to refer to the embassy in London.
The England Cricket Board is trying to resolve the issue with the Indian Cricket Board but Shoaib Bashir is believed to have been denied a paper visa due to his Pakistani parents.
