“The depression is coming” –

Second hot weekend of August in Italy, thanks to the strong anticyclone with an African component that expands between the Atlantic and Western Europe, also affecting the Mediterranean. Weather conditions mostly stable in Italy, with the exception of some isolated thunderstorms on the mountains. The Centro Meteo Italiano explains that temperatures are expected to rise further and positive anomalies of up to 8 degrees. Things will not be any better in continental Europe where values ​​of up to 10-12 degrees above average will be recorded. Italy is thus approaching Ferragosto, with the first part of next week stable and very hot; subsequently some models suggest the arrival of a trough from the Atlantic which could bring a drop in temperatures and greater storm activity between Ferragosto and the following weekend.
