After visiting the 8 provinces of the interior of the country, the President of the Transition, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguéma, is completing his Republican tour from August 12 to 13, which resembles an electoral campaign, through Estuaire, the province which houses the capital of Gabon where he resides permanently.
As in the other provinces, Oligui Nguéma was welcomed on Monday at Libreville airport not from Libreville but from Kigali in Rwanda where he participated in the inauguration of his Rwandan counterpart, Paul Kagamé.
The man who defeated Ali Bongo must travel through all the departments of the province after a full day in the capital and its surroundings (Akanda and Owendo).
At the centre of this demonstration were speeches, inaugurations and laying of the first stones of projects initiated by the Committee for the Transition and Restoration of Institutions (CTRI).

Celebrated as the liberator, he will make his first official visit to the province after his coup of August 30, 2023 which overthrew the Bongo regime in power since 1967.
Wearing his green beret with two brigadier general stars clearly visible, Oligui Nguema seems to be carrying out a full-scale exercise in political communication or electoral campaigning.
Mobilization test, crowd bath, promises, seduction… everything is implemented by the teams of the president of the CTRI, military strategist, who is the only leader of the transition authorized to polish the presidential chair during the presidential election which will be organized in August 2025 to put an end to the transition started following the coup d’état of August 30, 2023.
