President Joko Widodo said the physical condition of the Presidential Palace in the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) which is already good and can be used for state activities such as the Plenary Cabinet Session is proof that infrastructure development in the new capital city is going according to plan. He also invited investors to immediately invest.
“This shows the government’s strong desire to complete the physical aspects related to the presidential and vice presidential palaces, coordinating ministry offices and then ministerial offices,” said President Jokowi at the IKN, Monday (12/8).
For the first time, the Plenary Cabinet Meeting was held at the Garuda Palace of the IKN. Almost all ministers attended the meeting.
“I want the Vice President, Mr. Prabowo and all ministers to feel the clean air in the morning at the IKN. Earlier we checked the air quality index at 6. Whereas the maximum is 50. In other capital cities, for example Singapore, the index is 53. Here (IKN) the air is indeed very fresh, clean and clean. That is good for health,” he said.
He further revealed that at the First Cabinet Meeting, several matters discussed included the development of the IKN and other matters related to the Indonesian Manufacturing Purchasing Management Index (PMI).
“Third, other issues that are indeed for sustainability, this transition, what must be prepared by all ministries. That’s more or less,” said Jokowi. (Z-11)
