Tether to promote blockchain education in South Africa – CRYPTO TIMES

Tether, the issuer of the USDT stablecoin, has announced a partnership with cryptocurrency payments provider Xion Global to promote blockchain education in South Africa.

The initiative will focus on crypto payments and provide educational resources including videos, case studies and engagement with industry leaders.

Aiming to build trust in digital financial solutions

The initiative aims not only to demonstrate the benefits of stablecoin payments, but also to build trust in digital financial solutions.

Previously, Tether sponsored the Africa Tech Summit and African Bitcoin Conference in Ghana and partnered with Bitnob to educate students at Ghanaian universities.

Xion Global COO Aeryn Quarmby said he hopes the partnership with Tether will help residents better understand stablecoin payments, adding that the collaboration aims to make digital transactions “as intuitive and trustworthy as traditional methods.”
