The details of the gruesome case evoke shock, outrage and disgust that happened in Sparta where a 40-year-old man is accused of raping his 9-year-old (today) daughter for 5 whole years.
He was arrested today (09/08) by Police officers of the Sparta Security Department, in the context of investigating a complaint, for sexual acts against his minor daughter. A case was filed against him for rape, child abuse, consanguineous intercourse and child pornography.
The 9-year-old’s 11-year-old brother played a pivotal role in uncovering the case, as he was the one who spotted a condom in his father’s house, and understandably, began to persistently ask him what it was about. The 40-year-old replied to his son that it belonged to his girlfriend. Then, after the 11-year-old returned home to his mother, he confided in her the incident that occurred with his father, while his sister was in the same room.
When the 9-year-old heard what her brother was saying, she burst into tears, with the child’s mother realizing that something was happening. Then, the 9-year-old revealed the horror she was living at the hands of her own father, and her mother filed a complaint.
As if it wasn’t enough that the 40-year-old was manifesting his sick desires to his own minor daughter, all this time, he threatened her that if she revealed his actions to anyone, she would go to jail.
It is noted that a mobile phone with a number of photos with pornographic material of his own child was confiscated, as well as 2 electronic gaming machines. According to information, the police found a total of 79 photographs of the minor.

“Police officers of the Sparta Security Department, in the context of investigating a related complaint, arrested this morning (9.8.2024) in Sparta, a local accused of sexual acts against his minor daughter.
A case file was filed against him for rape, abuse of minors, sexual intercourse between relatives and pornography of minors.
Specifically, according to the complaint, the accused, at least in the last five years, performed sexual acts against his minor daughter.
Finally, a mobile phone with a large number of photos with pornographic material as well as -2- electronic game machines was confiscated.
The confiscated evidence will be sent to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to carry out the necessary laboratory tests.
The arrested person will be brought to justice”.
