Representatives of the sector will be evaluated for achievements in domestic and foreign markets, for exceptional products, services, IT solutions for defense and security, for leadership in business and social activities, the Lithuanian Defense and Security Industry Association reported.
“The entire nomination procedure and the final event will show a broader picture of the Lithuanian defense and security industry – what is its potential, achievements, what we have created is unique, what is the place of this sector in the economy and the defense system, what is the future of the Lithuanian defense industry”, said Egidijus Skužinskas, chairman of the board of the association, in a statement. .
The event will evaluate the leadership of state politicians in shaping Lithuania’s defense and security policy, as well as the competencies of state institutions in the field of defense industry, efforts to create partnerships with the business community
Nine winners will be announced. Applicants for the nomination of each category are proposed by companies, presenting arguments. The winners were chosen by the board of the association.
The awards ceremony will be preceded by a discussion and product exhibition for the defense and security industry.
