According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thundershowers at a few places in Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Punjab, Potohar region and Islamabad. Strong winds and thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Upper Sindh, while heavy rain is also expected at a few places in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast Punjab and Kashmir.
Islamabad

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Balochistan
The weather is likely to remain hot and humid in most of the districts of Balochistan, but strong winds and thundershowers will occur in Kalat, Khuzdar, Musa Khel, Qila Saifullah, Laura Lai, Bolan, Naseerabad, Jafarabad, Dera Bugti and Barkhan during the night. Along with rain, heavy rain is also expected at some places.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature was recorded in Quetta yesterday at 37, Kalat at 28, Zhob at 28 and Ziarat at 26.
Apart from this, 41 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sabi, 34 in Turbat, 44 in Nokundi, 34 in Chaman, 34 in Gwadar and 32 in Jeuni.
Sindh
In most of the districts of Sindh, the forecast will remain partly cloudy and hazy, however, in Mithi, Tharparkar, Umarkot, Sanghar, Khairpur, Kashmore, Sukkur and Ghotki, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thundershowers at a few places, while the forecast is cloudy in the coastal areas. In addition to being cloudy, there may be light rain.
Azad Kashmir
In Azad Kashmir, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunder and heavy rain at a few places, while in Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather is expected to be hot and dry while the forecast is partly cloudy.
More rain forecasted across Punjab, alert issued
On the other hand, PDMA Punjab issued an alert predicting more rain across the province, the new spell of monsoon rains will start from August 9.
According to the Meteorological Department, from August 9, monsoon winds will enter the country from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal with intensity. Till August 12, Kashmir, Neelam Valley, Rawalkot, Bagh are likely to experience intermittent rain with strong winds.

The Meteorological Department has also expressed the fear of inundation of the low-lying areas due to the rains between August 9 and 12.
According to PDMA, during August 10 and 11, there are chances of rain with wind and thunder in most districts of South Punjab, Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Sahiwal and Monsoon rains are expected in Gujarat divisions.
DG PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia said that an alert has been issued to the relevant administrations across the province regarding the weather situation, in view of the instructions of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the relevant departments should remain alert, in view of the fear of urban flooding, the administration Be alert and complete advance arrangements.
