British glamor model Katie Price’s (46) addiction to plastic surgery is getting out of control. The former star of men’s magazines, also known under the pseudonym Jordan, went bankrupt twice and currently her debts have risen to 3.2 million pounds, equivalent to 96 million crowns. However, instead of trying to humble herself and pay off her debts, Katie went to Turkey for another face lift, her sixth.
However, Katie’s troubles are far from over. Judge Catherine Burton issued an arrest warrant for her, as the model failed to appear again last week for a hearing at the bankruptcy court, and she is currently at risk of going straight to detention after arriving in her native country. Instead of going to court, Katie flew to Turkey with her boyfriend JJ Slater for the aforementioned procedure for 10,000 pounds (300,000 crowns).
The model narrowly avoided a stay behind bars in the past, namely in 2021, when she got away with only a conditional sentence for driving under the influence of alcohol. Her family is especially devastated by the model’s actions. Amy’s mother has spoken out in the past about her daughter’s addiction to plastic surgery. “I didn’t want her to have any surgeries, so I canceled a few of them. Then she learned not to tell me. I think it’s body dysmorphic disorder and I think it’s the same with her tattoos. I think her breasts are ridiculous if you ask me that,” Amy stated, adding that her daughter could end up as the ‘Bride of Frankenstein’ if she’s not careful.
But her children are also disappointed in their mother. Nineteen-year-old Junior and Princess, who is two years younger, are also said to fear that their mother’s transgressions may affect their own careers. While Junior, following the example of his father Peter Andre, tries to establish himself in the music industry, Princess reaps success in the field of modeling.
“Junior and Princess are old enough to see right from wrong. So seeing their mother behaving like this is hard and sad for them. Junior is studying and preparing for a career in music, and Princess has many job offers, but both are nervous that they will only be asked about Katie. She can no longer control herself,” added a source close to the model’s family.
