Al Burj Scanning Center deeply regrets the incident that occurred at its branch in the Maadi area, in which a patient and an anesthetist suffered burn injuries due to a fire in a room at the branch. Evacuate visitors to the center and control the fire to prevent it from spreading throughout the center.
The centers said that civil protection and ambulance services were called, the fire was completely extinguished and the injured were transferred to the nearest hospital, where their condition and visits are being monitored around the clock.
The management of the Burj Al Arab Scan Center carried out a technical inspection of the accident site in full cooperation with the authorities including the Procuratorate, Ministry of Health, Civil Defense and Occupational Safety and Health.
Participants concluded the following points:
First: The patient enters the center under general anesthesia and undergoes X-ray examination, according to the patient’s wishes, in the ward after the radiological examination is completely completed under conventional open and closed X-ray machines.
Second: The anesthetist was present during the patient’s recovery and at the time of the fire, and despite his hand injuries from the fire, he provided her with the necessary first aid until the ambulance team arrived.
Third: The injured patient and doctors were transferred to the hospital and full support was given to the patient and her family by the best hospitals and most qualified doctors, we were concerned to ensure her condition while receiving any necessary treatment Al- Burj Scan Center confirms that they are fully prepared and will continue to work in solidarity with the family until the treatment is completed.
Fourth: Al Burj Scanning Center emphasizes the safety of X-ray machines, signing maintenance contracts with international manufacturers, which include strict regular maintenance plans for all equipment according to international standards to ensure that the efficiency and safety of our center receive the highest international Institutional recognition.
Fifth: This matter is under investigation by prosecutors and regulatory agencies, and we believe in their integrity and ability to find out the truth.
