The mayor of Medellín, Federico Gutiérrez, known as Fico Gutiérrez, announced strong measures against an individual who violently attacked several people inside his vehicle.
In a statement on his Twitter account, the mayor reported that, thanks to the prompt intervention of the Police and Traffic personnel, the aggressor has been located and identified. The vehicle involved in the incident has been immobilized and a corresponding fine has been imposed.
Gutiérrez stressed that contact has already been established with the victims of the attack, who are being provided with the necessary support. “We are providing all the support to the affected people to ensure that they receive the appropriate assistance,” said the mayor.
The mayor also announced that a criminal complaint has been filed with the Prosecutor’s Office so that the aggressor faces the legal consequences of his actions. “We have spoken with the Prosecutor’s Office and the corresponding criminal complaint has been filed so that the aggressor can respond according to the law,” added Gutiérrez.
Public Order
The mayor reaffirmed his commitment to public safety and justice, stressing that cases like this will not be tolerated and will be dealt with with the utmost severity.
