Wisden has announced the best Test team of the year 2020 and both national team captain Babar Azam and Shan Masood are included in this best team.

Wisden, considered the bible of cricket, has announced the best Test team of the year 2020 based on the players who performed best during the last 12 months, in which no Indian player could make a place.

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, who recently became world number one along with Australia, has been entrusted with the leadership of the best team of the year.

Babar Azam scored 600 runs at an average of 100 with three centuries in six Test matches during this period, with his best score being 143.

“This average is not bad,” Wisden said. Will provide more, his average of 50 despite a disappointing tour of England shows just how high his standards are.

Shaun Masood’s performance was also standard and he scored 419 runs at an average of 46.55 in six Test matches.

Wisden said that Shaun Masood managed to make it to the team thanks to three centuries in three consecutive innings.

The International Cricket Council wrote that Shaun played a brilliant innings of 156 off 319 balls against England at Old Trafford in August this year. Despite the mistakes made by the bowlers, they could not take much advantage, however, on the second day of the match, when Pakistan scored 176 runs for the loss of 5 wickets, they showed responsibility, despite the kneeling of their batting partners. Shouldering the responsibility alone, he struggled against England earlier and before 156 he had not scored as many runs in a Test against England jointly. But Chris Woakes and Jos Buttler had other intentions.

It should be noted that despite being in a strong position in this match, Jos Buttler and Chris Woakes gave England victory by showing good batting.

Wisden’s best team is captained by Kane Williamson while other players include Shaun Masood, Dom Sibley, Marence Labushin, Babar Azam, Ben Stokes, Quinton de Kock, Kyle Jamieson, Stuart Broad, Tim Southee and Nathan Line.
