Maintenance of road sections in Ñeembucú promotes connectivity and regional development

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Public Works and Communications, through its District No. 12, in agreement with the Government of Ñeembucú and in coordination with different municipalities, continues with important works of recovery and maintenance of dirt roads in various sections of the department in order to optimize them, promoting connectivity and regional development.

Activities were focused on several strategic points in the region in the first days of August. In the stretch from Punta Diamante to San Jorge, patching, ditching, profiling and platform lifting were carried out.

At the same time, on the Desmochados – Villalbín route, the roadbed was profiled with two motor graders. The local roads in Desmochados also benefited from the patching of the roadbed.

The road improvement reached the section from Islerías to Desmochados, through the profiling of the platform. On the route that connects Yaguarón, Tacuara’i and Punta Diamante, they carried out profiling, patching, guttering and platform raising.

The interventions included the Yaguarón – Duarte Cué – Tacuara’i – Punta Diamante sector, with similar operations. Additionally, in the section from Isla Umbú to Desmochados, the platform was profiled with two motor graders.
