They say that “when the river makes noise, it’s because it carries water,” and after weeks of rumors about an alleged relationship between Litzy, former participant of “MasterChef Celebrity Mexico 2024”, and chef Poncho Cadena, the singer finally confirmed it.
Litzy recently appeared as a guest on the talk show “Pinky Promise,” alongside her partner and reality show winner, Rossana Nájera. There, the artist revealed details about her new romance and confirmed that she started dating the cooking expert after his departure from the competition.
“Yes, it’s true. I found love. It was obviously after MasterChef,” Litzy said, smiling, during a question and answer session.
The artist explained that, although she interacted with the chef during the recordings, they never had a significant relationship on the show.

“We couldn’t spend much time with the chefs because it’s not possible, actually, by contract they can’t spend time with us or give us advice or classes or anything like that. So, obviously there was no direct contact, we didn’t eat together or talk or anything until I left the program,” he explained.
Although she didn’t reveal how they started getting close, Litzy made it clear that she is deeply in love and happy.
“We started talking and started dating and everything was amazing. He is also a beautiful human being,” she said.
The actress also expressed her admiration for the chef because of the “spectacular things he does,” and joked that she had hit “the jackpot” by finding love in the cooking project.
It is worth mentioning that weeks before, when speculation about her love affair began, Litzy had denied having an affair with the chef.
“I have never shared my private life, I have always liked people to talk about my work, I prefer that. And nothing… I am happy, I am content. The heart must always be in love, content, happy, on fire, well seasoned, so that we can flow in life and we can come happily to record my soap opera,” she expressed to the press.
