“We are facing a digital fascism that is sold as freedom,” declared the president, without offering the names of the companies whose actions he rejected, reported the Turkish agency Anadolu.
He also pointed out that the companies that manage such a conglomerate have become “militants” that “cannot even tolerate the showing of photographs of the Palestinian victims.”
“Gaza showed us not only the injustice but also the hypocrisy of the global system. Everything happened and is happening before our eyes. You see, journalists were murdered; The international media remained silent,” Erdogan said, quoted by Fahrettin Altun, spokesman for the Presidency.
On the other hand, he regretted that companies that follow the rules in America and Europe “refuse to observe the same diligence in Turkey when it comes to fighting crimes that harm citizens.”
