Third win in a row with Central Córdoba as the victim

Riestra Sports turned his stadium in Bajo Flores into a fortress. This Monday, his new victim was Central Cordoba from Santiago del Estero, thanks to a solitary goal from Jonathan Herrerawhich in addition to meaning a key duel for permanence, allowed them to add their third consecutive home win. During their first season in the Professional League, among others, they had already fallen in their particular home Independent, San Lorenzo, River y Argentinos Juniors.

The group led by Christian Fabbiani became strong defensively, in fact, in those three matches that they won on their court they were unable to score so many. The rest, for now, is resolved by the ‘Sultan’ Herrerawho always plays on the edge of the opponent’s last line, to catch the balls that go into space.

In fact, that’s how the goal against ‘Ferroviario’ came about – which saw Omar De Felippe make his debut on the bench – after a long ball from Sansotre in which the forward was face to face with goalkeeper Ingolotti, who had been the star player until then but could do nothing with his cross-definition, which meant his sixth goal of the season.

Central Córdoba took the lead in the second half, but their ineptitude in finishing prevented them from equalising. The clearest chance came from a header by Barrios, alone at the penalty spot, who headed it wide. The home team could have also finished it off, but the crossbar denied Goitia, who had just come on.

Riestra wins in Bajo Flores and moves away, while Ferroviario continues on a slide that is becoming more and more dangerous.
