Responsibilities of an AmeriGas Commercial Driver

• Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes.
• Fill residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
• Deliver propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers.
• Perform all daily functions in a safe manner, complying with all federal and state codes and regulations, as well as all AmeriGas safety and operations policies and procedures.
• Constant use of required personal protective equipment.
• Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8-12 hour shifts.

General requirements

• All delivery representatives must have a valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license (CDL) with hazardous materials and tanker endorsement.
• Acceptable driving experience.
• Successful completion of a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Capacity to lift up to 70 pounds.
