After his exchange.. RT reveals to the “Wall Street Journal” with audio and video the crime of the spy Gershkovich

This came in two video clips published by RT on its official channel on the Telegram application, one of which included a conversation between Gershkovich and his source, the text of which is as follows:

-Well, what’s the best way to do that?

– I did everything you asked, and I have it.

– Good

-The only thing I ask is that you be very careful, this is confidential information…

– We will not write anything, not even that we saw these documents. The source will be anonymous for us. So that there will be no suspicion that we collected the information, or that someone leaked this information to us. We will write: An anonymous source said, and there will be no mention of the source at all. This is our approach, that’s why I said to leave the documents at home, this is the approach, it’s just an interview.

Ivan Gershkovich was detained in a cafe in Yekaterinburg and RT video shows how he was arrested during his meeting with the “anonymous source”.

As stated by the FSB, the transfer of classified information about the Russian military-industrial complex was discussed at a meeting between Gershkovich and his source. In the video, Gershkovich is seen sitting alone in a cafe when a man joins him and sits next to him, and they begin a conversation. Security forces then enter, arrest Gershkovich, and seize his belongings.

The Wall Street Journal described the case against Gershkovich in March 2023 as “bogus” and “without evidence,” and RT attached the two videos with a comment: “For skeptics, we attach a recording of a conversation between the American journalist and his informant.”

A Russian court sentenced Gershkovich to 16 years in a maximum-security prison on charges of espionage, and he was pardoned as part of a recent prisoner swap between Russia and Western countries.
