According to a report in the daily newspaper “Die Presse” (online), 53-year-old presenter Birgit Fenderl will leave the station at the end of the year after 31 years at ORF. Until then, she will continue to present the TV magazine “Studio 2”, but will then “become self-employed and pursue her own projects in the future”.
According to “Presse” information, which refers to Fenderl’s closest circle, the former “Zeit im Bild” presenter and author “has increasingly wanted in recent years not to retire from the ORF, but to try something else and reinvent herself”.
