According to Cora’s former best friend Jörg Kunze (52), the photo dates back to spring 2023. Reportedly, Cora has known Ralf Schumacher’s (49) partner for at least a year, as reported by Bild.
Kunze was present when the former Formula 1 driver introduced Étienne to his ex-wife in the south of France. Cora and Étienne immediately clicked. However, in response to Ralf’s coming out three weeks ago, Cora shared a photo of herself in tears. Allegedly, she was taken aback after learning about the relationship from the media, but the information from “Bild” now contradicts this account.

The public announcement of former Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher stirred up quite a controversy. In mid-July, he publicly declared his love for his partner Étienne on Instagram. In his post, the ex-Formula 1 star wrote, “The most beautiful thing in life is to have the right partner by your side with whom you can share everything.” The photo accompanying the post shows Schumacher embracing his boyfriend.
Two weeks later, his ex-wife Cora Schumacher (47) spoke out for the first time about Ralf’s revelation. She posted a wedding photo of herself with tears in her eyes, captioned “Tears speak louder than words.” She also included hashtags like #reallove, a red heart, and a broken heart, which she has since deleted. Did she already have an inkling back then?
She also shared the photo on her Instagram story and paired it with the song “Raindrop” by Katja Krasavice (27) and Leony (27). She selected a specific lyric: “All these years have passed, and you never really cared about me.” Many of her followers empathized with her. One person commented, “Now I understand your tears. I hope you can finally live your life,”

Cora and Ralf were married for 14 years and have a son together, David (22). Looking back, it’s conceivable that Cora might have been aware of her ex-husband’s feelings for some time. Despite being divorced from Ralf for nine years and separated for 15 years, their relationship has occasionally been a topic of public discussion.
At the end of May, the reality TV participant shared a video on Instagram. She struggled to hold back her tears, writing to her followers, “Do you know the feeling when the ground beneath your feet suddenly disappears, and you fall into darkness?”
Cora’s statements during the jungle camp in January also raised eyebrows. “I married him out of love. I’m not entirely sure about him…” the 47-year-old remarked.
