Vice President Delcy Rodríguez points out Alberto Fernández’s political short-sightedness – La Verdad de Monagas

The Vice President Delcy Rodriguez has firmly rejected the statements of former Argentine President Alberto Fernández, who called supporters of the Venezuelan government violent.

Rodríguez expressed on his social media account X, “Violence is on the side of those you defend with your usual weaknesses to face complexities,” he indicated.

“Apparently your political short-sightedness has reached our borders. Violence is on the side of those you defend with your usual weaknesses in dealing with complexities. Are you paying the price to the criminal @JMilei to avoid going to prison? God bless the Argentines!” Rodríguez highlighted in his post.

Alberto Fernandez’s political myopia

The vice president points out that the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva took over the Argentine embassy in Caracas to prevent violent individuals from entering and abducting those who are seeking asylum there.

On Thursday, August 1, Brazil assumed the diplomatic representation of Argentina in Caracas and, with it, the protection of six Venezuelan opponents who have been sheltered in the legation for four months, after the Casa Rosada officially closed its embassy in Caracas that same day.

He also stressed that Venezuela demanded that the Argentine government immediately withdraw its representatives from Venezuelan territory, following the interventionist statements that sought to ignore the results of the presidential elections of July 28, 2024.
