Alexander Prass: From Hellmonsödt to the German Bundesliga

The transfer of Alexander Prass from Mühlviertel from Sturm Graz to Hoffenheim is official after the medical check. Austria’s football champions are receiving a transfer fee of more than ten million euros for the 23-year-old ÖFB team player. According to German media reports, the fee, including possible bonuses, is in the range of eleven to twelve million euros.

Hoffenheim did not provide any information about the duration of the contract; the club from Sinsheim only announced that the midfielder had signed a “long-term contract”.

Prass had played for LASK and Pasching before moving to the Salzburg youth team at the age of eleven. After his contract with cooperation club Liefering in the second division expired, Sturm Graz signed the midfielder in 2021. In 130 competitive matches, he celebrated two cup victories and said goodbye with the championship title.
