Based on the screenplay by Pierre Roustang, Stuck on a Tree was written by Jean Halain and Serge Korber. With his diplomatic and business acumen, Monsieur Roubier postponed the big market, the construction of the European road network, from his competitors.

His business motto: “quick action is worth more than any long talk”, with his usual discretion, he obtains the final consent of the Italian entrepreneur Enrico Mazzini in the utmost secrecy.

His plan would almost have succeeded, if on the way, in a sharp bend towards San Remo, the little thing had not happened to him, that he deviated from the straight road and got stuck in a tree above the sea, between heaven and earth.

Well, of course, he is not alone, his companions may be the vampire of the French campsites, as well as the wife of Colonel Müller. Operation Cauliflower begins…

The 87-minute French comedy, made in 1970, was directed by Serge Korber, who also worked as a co-screenwriter on the film. Written by someone who saw Stuck on a Tree: “A great film in which, in addition to Louis de Funés, the absurd also plays a significant role.”
