Claudia Sheinbaum thanks Lopez Obrador

CUAJINICUILAPA, Guerrero (El Universal).— Virtual president-elect Claudia Sheinbaum said it is a lesson and a privilege to walk alongside President Andrés Manuel López Obrador as part of the work of the government transition.

“Today, walking with him in this historic transition, I can say that we are receiving the best President our country has ever had, who has won the hearts of his people even more, that it is a lesson, a privilege to walk alongside President López Obrador.”

On her seventh joint work tour along these “southern roads” of the Costa Chica of Guerrero, Sheinbaum committed to continue connecting the municipalities of the Costa Chica and Costa Grande of Guerrero through road infrastructure, as well as maintaining the program of artisanal roads built with local labor.

Participating in the inauguration of the Las Cruces-Pinotepa highway, the winning candidate of the last presidential election pledged to continue the legacy of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador with the maxim of her movement: “for the good of all, the poor first.”

AMLO “With the people”

The President stressed that the feelings of the people were clearly demonstrated in the last elections.

A change for the people

López Obrador stressed that the last elections made it clear that with the people everything is possible and without the people nothing. “For a true change to take place, a transformation, the people are needed, the driving force of change is the people, and that is what has been made clear, that is a legacy. If we want to transform, let us never turn our backs on the people,” said López Obrador.

“You have to love him”

The president went further in his message and pointed out that not only must we respect the people, “but we must also love them.”
