India pays tribute to Pakistani volunteer for saving lives of pilgrims in Mina – Pakistan

On the occasion of Hajj this year, where pilgrims endured the extreme heat, there was also a Pakistani who tried to save Logon’s life.

According to the details, Asif Bashir from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan has worked as a volunteer in Makkah on the occasion of Hajj.

1301 deaths were reported due to heatstroke where the earth was scorching in 50 degree Celsius, in all this Asif served the pilgrims from India and played an important role in saving their lives.

On helping others on the occasion of extreme heat, Asif says that pilgrims from India used to call me Pakistani Bajrangi Bhaijaan, many pilgrims even gave me the title of ‘Angel of Money’.

While the Indian Minister for Minority Affairs Kiran Rijiju also thanked Asif for his services, in his letter, India said that because of him, the lives of many pilgrims, including Indian citizens, were saved in Mina.

Hajj begins, pilgrims leave for Mina from Makkah

While Asif Bashir said that the Indian Consul General Jeddah has said that he will also nominate him for the Indian Award ‘Jiwan Raksha’.

In a conversation with Bibi, Asif said that as a volunteer during the Hajj, his job was to guide the pilgrims from Pakistan, but when he saw that people were fainting or fainting in large numbers in the hot weather. So they decided to help.

Asif said that the weather was very hot on the day of pelting Satan with pebbles on 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah. On the same day, Asif saw dead bodies on the streets. Together decided to save people’s lives.

26 people were rescued by Asif and his colleagues, but 9 out of 26 people could not survive and met Khaliq Haqiq.
