Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi said that there is no need to change the domestic structure, our domestic system is not bad, we will strengthen our domestic cricket in every way.

While giving a press conference in Lahore, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi said that they will not tamper with the domestic system, there is no need for much change in the domestic infrastructure, because of the system, quality players were not being selected. He announced that the domestic Champions Cup will start from September 1, the three formats will be Champions Cup ODI, Champions Cup T20, Champions First Class, and one team will be allotted a high performance camp.

Chairman PCB further said that foreign players will also play in the Champions Cup, domestic players’ remuneration and match fees have also been increased, 5 teams will participate in the Champions Cup, each team will have 5 legends. .

Mohsin Naqvi said that after that the chief selector will be able to select the players on merit, and the best players will be selected in the team.
