An energy voucher is a one-time cash benefit for a household. Applications for an energy voucher will be accepted from August 1 to September 30, 2024. An energy voucher is available after meeting the income criterion. The basis for calculation is income from 2023. If income slightly exceeds the criterion, a voucher will be granted, but reduced by the amount by which it exceeds the income criterion. The zloty-for-zloty rule will apply here.
Applications for energy vouchers will be available for download at:
1. Municipal Family Support Centre in Piekary ĹšlÄ…skie, ul. Biskupa Nankera 103 (ground floor),
2. Field offices of social workers at:
- Gen. Maczka 13
- Kalwaria 64
- Kusocińskiego 4 (CUS)
Who can use the voucher?
An energy voucher is available after meeting the income criterion.
The income criterion is:
- a single-person household, in which the average monthly income for 2023 did not exceed PLN 2,500.
- a multi-person household in which the average income per person for 2023 did not exceed the amount 1700 PLN.
Where and when to apply
To receive an energy voucher, you must submit an application between August 1 to September 30, 2024 in person, or by sending it at a post office, or electronically using electronic means of communication within the meaning of Art. 2 point 5 of the Act on the provision of services by electronic means (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 344). An application submitted in electronic form must be signed with a qualified electronic signature, a trusted signature or a personal signature.
Applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered.
Applications submitted:
1. traditionally (on paper) – will be accepted in person at:
at the seat of the Municipal Family Support Centre at 103 Biskupa Nankera Street in the Social Welfare Benefits Department, room no. 4.
Customer reception hours:
– Monday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
– Tuesday – Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.,
– Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Remember to fill out the application form correctly and carefully and to sign the application by hand.

Step 1 Complete the application form with attachments and sign it.
Step 2 Scan the fully completed application.
Step 3 Log in to the ePuap portal, then select the case directory from the Epuap General letter to a public entity (external service).
Step 4 Attach the scanned application along with attachments in PDF format.
Step 5 Sign the application with a free trusted profile or a trusted/qualified signature.
Step 5a If you do not have a trusted profile, check if you can create a profile via your online bank account without leaving your home (external service)
Step 6 In case of a positive decision, you will receive a response to the request indicated in the application.

Step 7 If the decision regarding the energy voucher ends negatively, you will receive the administrative decision via the ePuap portal to your mailbox on the GOV.pl portal.
Please: enter your e-mail address in the application form – information about the awarding of an energy voucher will be sent to the e-mail address provided in the application.
An application for payment of an energy voucher will be considered within 60 days from the date of its correct submission.
The granting of an energy voucher does not require an administrative decision.
And you,giving an administrative decision requires:
1. refusal to grant an energy voucher;
2. correction or refusal to correct the amount of the energy voucher granted;
3. revocation or change of the right to an energy voucher;
4. decision on the return of an energy voucher awarded or collected unduly or in an incorrectly determined amount.
The energy voucher for the period from 1 July 2024 to 31 December 2024 is paid in a one-off payment.
Energy voucher amount.
The energy voucher is awarded in the amount of:
– in the case of a single-person household – PLN 300.
– in the case of a household of 2 to 3 people – PLN 400,
– in the case of a household of 4 to 5 people – PLN 500,
– in the case of a household of at least 6 people – PLN 600.
The minimum amount of the energy voucher paid will be PLN 20.
If the main heating source of a given household is powered by electricity and is entered or reported to the central register of building emissions by 1 April 2024, or after that date – in the case of main heating sources reported or entered for the first time in the central register of building emissions, an energy voucher is granted in the amount of:
1) PLN 600 – for a single-person household;
2) PLN 800 – for a multi-person household consisting of 2 to 3 people;
3) PLN 1,000 – for a multi-person household consisting of 4 to 5 people;
4) PLN 1,200 – for a multi-person household consisting of at least 6 people.
Funds for the payment of energy vouchers will come from the state budget.
