Chico also said that there was no plan for the PDI Perjuangan General Chairman to do any activities that day. “There is no plan yet,” he said.

In addition, it is likely that Megawati will not attend this independence celebration. However, Chico did not explain the reason for her absence.

This statement was also conveyed by the Deputy Secretary General of the PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) DPP, Yoseph Aryo Adhi, who said that no letter had been received regarding the implementation of the Independence Day ceremony.

“Nothing,” he said.

Previously, the government continued to finalize preparations for the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in the IKN and in Jakarta. Including, invitations for former presidents and vice presidents of the Republic of Indonesia.

State Secretary Pratikno said that invitations for former presidents and former vice presidents were also differentiated. For former presidents, namely Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and Megawati Soekarnoputri, they were prioritized to attend the ceremony at the IKN State Palace. (P-2)
