The Transnational Anti-Gang Center reports this Saturday, August 3 that through intelligence work by investigators valuable information was obtained in the El Milagro neighborhood, zone 6 of Mixco, and then made an arrest.

There they captured a Salvadoran gang member identified as alias El Sniper, who is wanted by the Salvadoran justice system.

According to the National Civil Police (PNC), the gang member frequented the area, so they carried out a tactical police operation.

During the operation, they intercepted Jorge “N”, 33 years old, known in the criminal structure as Sniper, from the Hoover Vatos Locos Sureños clique of the Mara 18 gang.

In El Salvador, he is accused of crimes of aggravated homicide, deprivation of liberty, aggravated robbery, attacks on individual freedom, illicit associations and threats with special aggravation.

Because he was in Guatemala illegally, the captured man was transferred to one of the borders and after the procedures at the Immigration Office of both countries, he will be handed over to investigators from El Salvador.
