CANDIDATE for General Chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) DKI Jakarta, Andi Anzhar Cakra Wijaya, is offering major changes to Kadin as the parent organization of the business world in Indonesia.
“God willing (ready), because for almost five years now I have been assigned to the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry as deputy chairman for investment, more or less I can develop that experience when I become chairman of the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry,” said Andi as quoted in Jakarta, Friday (2/8)
In his statement received in Jakarta, Thursday, Andi explained that the changes he meant were changes that were for the better for members of the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry and would be beneficial for the community.
“The Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a big ship. I emphasize here that there must be changes in the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry,” he said.
Changing the way we innovate and provide solutions to members here.
“Therefore, we close our ranks. We unite our missions,” he said.

The Deputy General Chairperson of the Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals Association (ICMI) Center also said that the DKI Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry will become the Special Region of Jakarta (DKJ), so its speciality is that Jakarta will become purely a business.
“What does that mean? It means that the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry has opportunities and of course there are challenges,” he said.
This certainly makes the position of the DKI Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a large home for Jakarta entrepreneurs to contribute to welcoming Jakarta into a global city.

“That is why effective communication between Kadin and all parties in Jakarta is needed,” said Andi.
Andi also said that the DKI Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry is required to create new innovations in business, such as digitalization to help cooperatives and MSMEs.
“In the future, cooperatives and MSMEs will certainly be one of the targets that we will help, how they can build a strong foundation,” he said.

The 14th Provincial Conference (Musprov) of the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be held in a week, precisely on August 7-8, 2024. Two people have been officially declared as candidates for the general chairman of the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, namely Andi Anzhar Cakra Wijaya and Diana Dewi.
Andi Anzhar is the deputy chairman of the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry for investment for the 2019-2024 period. Meanwhile, Diana Dewi is the incumbent candidate. (Z-8)
