Maduro denounces preparation of an attack in Bello Monte

This Friday, in a press conference, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro denounced that through the so-called “comanditos” an ambush was being prepared in the Bello Monte area in Caracas.

Maduro said: “Some of these groups of commandos plan to carry out an attack tomorrow (Saturday) in the area of Bello Monte, Caracas. Among them, some of these criminals were brought from Zulia.”

“The Venezuelan opposition is planning an attack and possible attacks by the commandos against their own people. It would be an ambush with grenades,” he said.

In this regard, he ordered “maximum patrolling and security” for the country’s military and police. “I am issuing a public alert, maximum patrolling because the evil of this demon and the murderer of González Urrutia is unspeakable.”

Maduro also assures that they have “responded to 5 thousand reports of threats to street leaders through the VenApp. Rest assured that we will clear them up one by one.”
