Lawyer Accused of Assaulting Twin Boys in Gurugram Society: Disturbing Video Goes Viral

Gurugram: A female lawyer has been accused of threatening and assaulting seven-year-old twin boys in the Paras Irene Society located in Sector-70A. It is also alleged that during the assault, the children were dragged into the lift by their collars. A video of the incident involving the children is going viral on social media. The police at the Bahadshahpur police station have registered a case against the accused and have started an investigation. There has been no arrest so far.

Insulted the children and beat them

According to the police, Prashant Pandey, a resident of the Paras Irene Society, reported that on July 28 at 6:30 PM, his two sons were playing in the park. During their play, there was a dispute between his children and the accused woman’s child. Allegedly, upon learning of the dispute, the woman grabbed the innocent children. She beat them and dragged them into the lift. Even in the lift, she continued to assault and insult the children. When the society’s guard attempted to intervene, he was also verbally abused. The guard informed Prashant’s wife about what was happening with the children, prompting her to rush out of their home. When she confronted the accused regarding the children, she too was verbally abused. Prashant stated that upon learning about the incident, he returned home and notified the police. The police arrived at the scene following the report.

Accused woman is a Supreme Court lawyer

Prashant disclosed that the accused woman, Farhad Waris, resides in their society. Farhad is reported to be a lawyer at the Supreme Court. The incident has left the children very frightened, and they were not willing to go play in the park the following day. On the day of the incident, it took considerable time to reassure the children. The police had registered a case regarding this matter on August 1. Station in-charge Satish Kumar of Bahadshahpur police station stated that a case has been registered, and both the accused and the complainant reside in the same society. Currently, no arrest has been made of the accused.
