Androulakis: Under ND government, the rich become richer, the poor poorer and the middle class shrinks – 2024-08-04 19:23:58

“Greece is on a path of no return, with low wages and very high precision. A country where the rich will get richer, the poor poorer and the middle class will decline”, noted tonight from Argos the President of PASOK-Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakis, criticizing the government’s policy.

He described patches, the interventions that the government baptizes reforms in the public health sector and highlighted the existence of oligopolies in private health services.

“We pay the second highest healthcare costs in Europe, only Bulgaria surpasses us. Be sure that in the coming months we will be first, because they left E.S.Y. collapses and jobs are opened for private individuals,” he said.

Regarding the latest developments in the illegal surveillance scandal, Mr. Androulakis emphasized: “New Democracy remains an unrepentant party. It is the party that bankrupted Greece. It is the party that misses the opportunities to rebuild the productive base, while the country is collapsing demographically. It is the party that, recalling the country’s worst times, is now bankrupting the institutions, the separation of powers and the rule of law.”

“It is a shame for the executives of the New Democracy, ministers and non-ministers, who, while being targeted by the parastatal, put this story of corruption under the carpet at the altar of the chair” he added characteristically.

Finally, referring to the internal party procedures, Mr. Androulakis pointed out: “I believe that the people of PASOK have a memory. He knows what we’ve been through for 15 years and why. I think together we can make sure we don’t go through this again. Let’s just move forward. Not a single step back should be taken. Society needs it, the country needs it.”

“And because they ask me: “will you face other forces?”. With healthy strengths, that we have common concerns and priorities, yes, of course I am ready to cooperate. With adventurers, who lost the chair from PASOK, went to other parties and now that they lose it again they return to PASOK, my PASOK has nothing to do with it. We have other principles, other values and other priorities,” he concluded.
