TSJ requests the CNE to record the minutes of the electoral process

The Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice -TSJ-, requested the National Electoral Council (CNE) to record: Minutes of Scrutiny of the electoral tables at the national level, Final Totalization Minutes and Minutes of Adjudication and Proclamation.

The delivery of said documents must be made within a period of three business days from this notification.

Due to the cyber attack, the TSJ also requests from the CNE “all evidence associated” with the event.

The Electoral Chamber also decided that, for “this particular case”, the TSJ office will be open from Monday to Sunday 24 hours a day.

The Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) summoned the 10 candidates of the presidential race on July 28 to appear in its electoral chamber, with the aim of investigating, verifying and certifying the results of the voting process.

In this regard, only nine of the presidential candidates attended the meeting with the judicial body, with the only absentee being the opposition candidate Edmundo González Urrutia. Thus, it was learned that, of those present, only eight signed the resolution, with the exception of Enrique Márquez.
