Ranchi: The Ranchi police disclosed the lawyer Gopi Krishna murder case on Sunday. The police have also arrested three criminals involved in the murder. One of the arrested criminals was apprehended in an injured state following an encounter with the police. However, the mastermind behind the murder is also injured. For this reason, the actual motive behind the murder has not yet come to light.

Included among the arrested criminals
The arrested criminals include Roshan Munda, a resident of the Sukdev Nagar police station area, Sandeep Munda from Angada Maheshpur, and Sandeep Kalindi. The police have recovered a pistol, two bullets, and a magazine from the arrested criminals.
Roshan committed the murder with accomplices
While disclosing the murder case of civil court lawyer Gopi Krishna, SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha stated that Roshan, along with his accomplice, murdered Gopi Krishna on Friday. After committing the crime, he had fled. The police received secret information that the accused Roshan was hiding in Angada.
Criminals opened fire upon seeing the police
When the police team reached Angada, the accused started firing. In retaliatory action, the police also fired. Roshan was shot and injured in the exchange, and the police arrested him in his injured state.
Two more criminals arrested from Angada and one from Silli
Informed about the case, SSP Chandan Sinha stated that the lawyer Gopi Krishna was murdered by criminals on Friday. Following this incident, a team was formed under the leadership of Kotwali DSP Prakash Soy. The team conducted a raid in Angada, arresting Roshan and his accomplice Sandeep Munda in the murder. Subsequently, on the indications of Roshan, police arrested Sandeep Kalindi from Silli. During interrogation, the accused confessed to their crime in front of the police.
Both criminals are constantly changing their statements
It is reported that during police interrogation, both accused keep changing their statements. Initially, they told the police that on the day of the incident, Friday, the lawyer had beaten them due to the falling of worship materials. Therefore, they committed the murder of the lawyer. Subsequently, one of the accused told the police that there was a land dispute behind the lawyer’s house, and he was killed over that land. Police officials state that questioning of the accused is ongoing, and the motive behind the murder will be revealed in a day or two.
