Japan claims successful flying car experiment

By the way, the idea of flying cars is not new in the world because for the last few years many technology companies have been busy making such vehicles that are capable of flying as well as walking on the road.

Several companies from Germany, France, Japan, the US, Switzerland and China, including Google and Uber, are busy developing cars that will not only fly, but run on electricity instead of fuel.

Among the companies developing such vehicles is the Japanese company SkyDrive Insurance, which claims to have successfully tested a small flying car it has built.

The American economic journal Forbes said in its report that the new company Sky Drive Insurance, supported by the Japanese car manufacturer Toyota, has claimed that they have successfully tested a flying car.

The company also released a short video of the flying car being flown, in which the helicopter-like car can be seen hovering at a low speed of up to 5 feet above the ground.

It can be seen in the video that the design of the car is similar to that of a helicopter and it can seat only one person while the front of the car is also equipped with small helicopter-like ‘wings’.

According to the company, in the initial test, the car was flown at a low altitude for 4 minutes at Toyota’s experimental field, but the company will improve its flying ability in the future to enable it to fly continuously for 30 minutes.

The Japanese company has named the said car as the SD3, which looks similar to the flying cars shown in the Star Wars movie.

The company has been working on such a car for the last 8 years and now after the successful initial experience of the car, the company has expressed the possibility that the said car will be offered for sale by 2023 or will be able to run it on a commercial basis.

According to the company, the test flight of the car will be extended after extending its flight time to 30 minutes and enabling it to fly up to a height of 30 feet, after which the company will decide whether to sell the said car or not. will

It should be noted that in 2017, a German company also successfully tested the car on behalf of the Japanese company, but so far no further improvements have been made in this vehicle.

Similarly, in January 2019, in the American state of Virginia, a propellant car made by Boeing was successfully tested.

Recently, it was reported that the US Air Force had also successfully tested the car.

On August 26 this month, it was reported that the US Air Force had conducted a successful initial flight test of its own self-developed car and it is believed that the said Air Force car will also be offered for public transportation by 2023.
