Latam Airlines Perú announces the temporary suspension of flights between Lima and Caracas from this Wednesday until August 31, which is why it ordered the refund or changes of tickets to those affected.
In a statement shared on the social network X, Latam indicated that they are forced to temporarily suspend flights between Lima and Caracas during said period.
Due to this situation beyond its control, and in order to provide the greatest possible protection to its passengers, “commercial flexibilities have been defined for changes and/or returns without any type of additional cost”, which can be managed from your website, the company said.
“Latam Airlines Perú regrets the inconvenience that this situation, beyond its control, may cause to passengers and will continue to constantly monitor the situation to provide pertinent and timely information to customers,” the message concludes.
Venezuela announced on Tuesday its decision to break diplomatic relations with Peru, after requesting the withdrawal of Peruvian diplomatic personnel from its territory.
