In Barinas they urge to guarantee distribution and marketing of meat

The management of the Pedro Pérez Delgado and Waryná slaughterhouses in the state of Barinas urged producers to maintain the distribution and marketing of meat.

Darío Matheus and Rodolfo Arriechi, presidents of these centers, highlighted the importance of herding the cattle and maintaining slaughter levels to satisfy national demand, without stopping operations.

They affirmed that the slaughterhouses, located in the Pedraza and Barinas municipalities, maintain operation with their work teams, to avoid shortages in the sector and guarantee food sovereignty to the people.

Arriechi indicated that they have the capacity to receive 1200 cattle per day in both slaughterhouses and that they serve producers not only from Barinas, but also from Apure and Portuguesa.

He assured that the personnel in the slaughterhouses remain active, providing formal service 24 hours a day, to comply with the slaughter channels and dispatch to the national territory.

“We are working continuously, committed to the nation. This country needs to produce, move forward, we cannot stop the march, we must continue contributing and ensuring food sovereignty,” he stated.

It should be noted that both slaughter centers are managed under an agreement between the Mayor’s Office of Barinas, the national government and the La Rosaliera company.
