First medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

The women’s team of archery of Mexico, formed by Alejandra Valencia, Ana Paula Vazquez y Angela Ruizwon the bronze medal in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Valencia, Vázquez and Ruiz recovered from a tight semi-final defeat against the People’s Republic of China (3-5) to beat the Netherlands 2-6 in the bronze medal final.

This is the fourth medal for Mexican archery in the history of the Olympic Games, and the first for women’s teams.
