The lifeless body of the Asturian tourist who had been sought in Cambados since Saturday afternoon was found early in the morning in A Modia. She appeared on a road and it was some neighbours who went to work on their farms who raised the alarm.
Diley Albuerne, 77, was part of the Avilés tour that was to spend the night in the town of Albariño. They had arrived at the bus station and she went to the toilet, from which she exited through the wrong door, thus separating herself from the group. The woman probably became disoriented and was no longer able to find her fellow travellers, among whom was her husband, and began to walk until she ended up in the area of A Modia.
The Civil Guard has opened an investigation and the autopsy performed on the body will determine the cause of death.
