The women’s national polo team put in a good enough performance but it wasn’t enough to earn them points against Spain, with the blue and white losing 10-8 on the fly in their second game at the Paris Olympics.

However, the blue-and-whites could not keep the lead since in the last two minutes they conceded two goals from Forka (the second with a penalty), which brought the match into balance.
The sequel found both Spain and our National team playing more freely in attack and having better options, the spectacle being exciting. The beginning of the third eight minutes brought excitement to Greece with the quick goal of Vasiliki Pleuritou (5-6), but the continuation was not similar, with the Spanish women first making the reversal (7-6) and then responding dynamically to her goal Margaritas Pleuritou (7-7), scoring twice and reaching 9-7 before the two teams entered the final stretch.
Forka was the star player for Rocha with four personal goals during this period, with the National Team offensively blocking both in the third eight minutes and in the first five minutes of the fourth and even being three goals behind (10-7) five minutes before the finale.
