Yes, because in multiverses anything is possible. This time Robert Downey Jr. will play Doctor Doomathe iconic antagonist of the Fantastic Four and the self-proclaimed smartest man on Earth. At this point, we have no idea if Tony Stark’s character will be involved in any way, but one thing is for sure. The announcement at San Diego Comic-Con caused a lot of buzz and it will certainly renew interest in the MCU for many people.

It is worth noting that the upcoming two avenger movies have been pushed back a bit. Avengers: Doomsday we will see in May 2026, and a year later we will watch Avengers: Secret Wars.
