Maduro: The extreme right intended to generate a blackout to attack Miraflores

The president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, revealed that Wednesday that the extreme right led by González Urrutia and María Corina Machado intended to attack the Simón Bolívar de el Guri Hydroelectric Power Plant during the presidential elections on July 28, with the support of the North American empire and Colombian criminal gangs, to sabotage the electrical system throughout the country and assault the Miraflores Palace.

“On Sunday they planned to leave the country without electricity from noon. Another blow at eight at night, we managed to dissipate and control the Guri Central, today we captured the person who was going to attack it. The objective was Guri, catastrophic, leaving the country without electricity. The population intuitively voted early. Both opponents and patriots. In the great afternoon, as it was fast, there was no queue. At one in the afternoon, 46% of the voters were already there. Everything is known in life and the evidence is coming out,” he revealed.

From the Miraflores Palace, in the Ayacucho Hall, during a press conference with international media, the head of state reported that the main ringleader who would attack the Guri was captured, “and they must already be capturing the other members of the contacted network.” by the commandos of the terrorist María Machado to attack Guri.”

“With extreme security measures, we managed to protect the El Guri Power Plant. We have already captured those involved,” he reported.

Likewise, the national leader denounced that the extreme right wanted to generate a blackout, to prevent electoral results and cause greater tension in the population with the help of the international media, to transmit to the world an uprising, caused by themselves. “What they did manage to do was attack the data system of the National Electoral Council and also damaged some headquarters of this entity.” he said he.

“For them it was vital, to promote hatred and violence and justify a new April 11, that there were no results and that Monday dawned as they did, they had plan A, B and C. A without results. and the following a violent, criminal and fascist action, which we managed to confront in time,” he said.

He recalled that last Friday, July 26, some individuals were captured who intended to attack the Ureña Electrical Substation, to leave that region of the country without electricity and, in addition, this chain of events would affect 10 states of Venezuela. “And they don’t stop in their plans. The logisticians of the sabotage plan at the Ureña Electrical Substation fled to Colombia, they have already been identified,” he noted.

In this sense, President Maduro stated that “Venezuela has stabilized in terms of the electrical system, I congratulate the Minister of Electric Energy of Venezuela, Jorge Márquez, for being attentive to the plans.”
