Steyr tractor parent CNH: Sales decline in the second quarter

The Steyr tractor mother CNH Industrial reported a 16 percent decline in sales in the second quarter compared to the same period in 2023 due to lower industry demand. The company announced this on Wednesday.

Consolidated revenues amounted to $5.49 billion (€5.06 billion) and net sales from industrial activities amounted to $4.80 billion. In the first half of 2024, $1.2 billion was returned to shareholders through dividends and share buybacks.

CNH Industrial, which employs 40,000 people worldwide, split from its subsidiary Iveco in 2022 and now wants to concentrate on the agricultural and construction machinery business. Steyr Traktoren employs around 500 people at its site in Sankt Valentin and produces tractors for agriculture.
