These schools in Texas will give free food to children

The Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD) announced that it will offer free meals to all children 18 years of age and younger during the summer break.

This program, designed to ensure that no child goes hungry, will run from Wednesday, June 5 to Tuesday, July 2, Monday through Thursday.

The initiative, which does not require prior registration, is open to all young people in the community, regardless of whether they are enrolled in a summer program.

The main objective is to provide nutritious and balanced meals to children during school holidays, when access to healthy foods may be more limited.
