The properties, which included residences and properties rented through short-stay platforms, were used to commit serious crimes against the sexual freedom of minors. The total value of these assets is approximately $10.5 billion pesos.

The Prosecutor’s Office has imposed precautionary measures on these properties, and investigations have revealed crimes such as sexual and commercial exploitation of minors, pimping, violent sexual access and supplying substances to minors.

Federico Gutiérrez has pointed out that these actions are part of the administration’s commitment to combat sexual and commercial exploitation, as well as human trafficking.

Investigations, which followed the arrests of key individuals involved in these crimes, have shown that among the users of these properties were US citizens, a Chinese citizen and seven Colombians.

Among them were identified people such as Brando Seth Wood and Richard Vincent Opalinski, who registered 65 entries to Colombia with the aim of contacting minors through social networks. In addition, it was discovered that one of the defendants forced minors to consume substances such as 2C and methamphetamines that he himself manufactured. Dominick A. Divicenzo, another person involved, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for similar crimes.

In conclusion, the local leader said: “Our message is clear: the life and integrity of our children come first. There will be no tolerance for those who commit these crimes. Don’t even try it, it’s a crime! We will continue to fight firmly against these depraved criminals.”
