The government increased the prices of LPG while reducing the prices of LNG.
LNG prices were reduced by $1.23 per mmbtu for Sui Northern and $1.22 per mmbtu for Sui Southern.
Ogra has issued a notification to reduce the prices of LNG. The LNG price for Sui Northern is set at $13.39 per mmbtu.
It should be noted that the price of LNG for Soi Northern in June was $14.62.
The price of LNG for Sui Southern is set at $13.15 per mmbtu, compared to $14.37 per mmbtu for Sui Southern in June.
LPG is expensive
Ogra has released LPG price notification for August. According to which domestic cylinder of LPG has been made expensive by 26 rupees 90 paise.
The new domestic cylinder price has been fixed at Rs 2796 56 paise.
According to the notification, the new prices will be applicable from August 1 for the next month.
Statement of Chairman LPG Industries Association Pakistan
After the increase in LPG prices, the statement of Chairman LPG Industries Association Pakistan came out.
Chairman LPG Industries Association Irfan Khokhar says that the new price of LPG has been set at Rs 237 after Rs 2 per kilo.
LPG is not available across the country at the official price, domestic cylinders have been hiked by Rs 27 and commercial cylinders by Rs 103.
The official producer price has been increased by Rs 2,279 per metric tonne, while LPG has been increased to Rs 237 per kg from Rs 235 per kg.
Domestic cylinder will be available at Rs 2797 instead of Rs 2770, commercial cylinder will be available at Rs 10760 instead of Rs 10656.
