If so, it should be reconsidered.”
“In any case, if his deletion from the Parliamentary Group is not immediately accompanied by his removal from the leadership bodies and his referral to the party’s Ethics Committee, it will make us absolutely untrustworthy in public opinion”, they estimate and conclude: “The president has to make difficult decisions. But he has to decide. He who steps on two boats usually falls into the water.”
For his part, Pavlos Polakis appears unrepentant and insists that he would do the same again if he had the chance. In his statement, he again attacked Athena Linou, while… he clarified that his return to SYRIZA will be decided before the party Congress. However, the now independent member of parliament also referred to Stefanos Kasselakis, he said that he has not spoken to him and commenting on his disgust yesterday that he loves him, he asserted: “Love is not enough when you have the revelation of a scandal and in front of you a colleague of a minister who makes grimaces of belittling and I’m not swearing at her at all. I come from a place where women are respected. When she makes faces and you say “they are stealing 1.5 billion euros”, what should I say to her? Shall I give her a clove?’
