In today’s weather forecast, Sunday, the General Directorate of Meteorology expects local thunderstorms with the possibility of hail in the countryside, the Middle Atlas, and Sais, with the possibility of extending to the northwestern regions, the Mediterranean coast, and the northeastern region.
It is expected that there will be some rain in the High Atlas Mountains, the adjacent western plains, and the phosphate and diamond plateaus, while the weather will be relatively hot to locally hot in the southern Rif, Saiss, the Middle Atlas regions, the eastern region, the southeast, and the eastern parts of the southern provinces.
There will also be local raindrops on the coasts between Tiznit and Tarfaya, and fog patches during the night and morning on the Mediterranean coast and the central oceanic plains, in addition to scattered dust in the southeast and the eastern Atlas region. Relatively strong winds will blow in the High and Middle Atlas, the southeast, Sais, the eastern region, the Rif, the Tangier regions and the southern coasts of the country.
Minimum temperatures will range between 24 and 31 degrees in the southeast, between 22 and 27 degrees in the eastern region, the countryside and the far south, and between 16 and 23 degrees in the rest of the regions.
As for the maximum temperatures, they will decrease in the central regions and within the southern regions, and increase in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
The sea will be slightly rough to rough on the Mediterranean coast and the Strait, as well as along the Atlantic coast.
